Expanding Digital Logistics with Advanced Multi-Service Platform Integration

Founded in Berlin in 2016, Forto GmbH (initially FreightHub) is a pioneer in digital logistics technologies and services, offering more than just basic transport solutions. They have a global presence with 10 offices and cater to over 2,500 customers. Forto's existing platform was advanced and user-friendly, but they sought assistance in integrating it with various external services like weather forecasting, container pricing, and ship journey mapping, among approximately 70 others, to enhance their existing platform.

Seamless integration for Logistics

The project required close cooperation with the client and the outside services we were integrating. Luckily, we could draw on a vast experience of working remotely (SolveQ is a remote-first company) and apply the right collaboration tools for the job. Through regular calls with Forto and the third-party services and virtual collaboration tools such as Kanban boards, we ensured our cooperation went smoothly and was highly influential, regardless of the distance or time differences.

Tech Stack

Mastering Multi-Integration for Enhanced Platform Efficiency

We developed a management panel to aggregate data from various sources, along with front-end panels using React. Initially, we established the infrastructure on AWS, then successfully migrated it to Google Cloud. Our team has created 24 repositories, 9 applications, and an open-source library.
