Last Friday, on the occasion of SolveQ’s second birthday we all went to Gdynia and participated in a workshop themed around survival in a post-society environment.
We split up into four groups, and completed team-building and discovery tasks such as communicating via Morse code, identifying edible plants, and learning to tie sturdy knots on ropes. At the end, we even had to build our own raft using scavenged materials such as wooden planks, plastic fittings and twine. It wasn’t easy at all 😉
The workshop was housed in the the Experyment center, which hosts a permanent science-themed hands-on experiment, and we definitely did not skip on the opportunity to discover new things.
At 6pm, we then went to the Alt Cafe for some quality get-together time, and the opportunity to get to know each other outside of work, along with being able to meet everyone’s partners. We then had some mandatory birthday cake (what is a birthday without a cake? ), and moved to our favourite pub for after-hours celebration.
Our kids were not bored during the party. This cafe has a great playground.
Thank you for another great year and a great party!
